The Nepali/ Dolpo/ French team of Himalayan Dolpo Natural trek has found the agency in December 2006 to offering some adventure, cultural and ecological treks in Nepal, especially in Dolpo. Our philosophy is to promote tourism in remote places as Dolpa district with the less negative effect on the nature and to the local culture. As well to cooperate with local people on their tourism development without forgotten the cultural identity. In other part we want to give chance for trekkers to become an actor in preservation of remote area. Ensure that you have the good experience communing with nature and local culture to build a memorable Himalayan experience. Your safety and security are our prime concern. Our trek leaders are experienced and know well the area they work as native. Involved with different projects in Dolpo district, Himalayan Dolpo Natural Trek donates some Benefits to these projects.

Tenzin Norbu Gurung (Chairman)
Tenzin Norbu Gurung is from Tinkyu village Upper Dolpo. Norbu
hails from a lineage of panting dating back four hundred years, and was trained by his father in the refined art of traditional Tibetan pastoral landscapes and lives. Since 1991, Norbu’s work has appeared in several international publications, illustrated some children’s book, doing several exhibitions in Nepal, France, USA, and Switzerland.
Today, Norbu is turning his talent and creativity to education, helping to create a cultural and economic renaissance in his remote homeland by training a cohort of apprentices from dolpo to paint and craft hand-made leather goods – helping to create economic and social opportunities where few exist. He returns to Dolpo – his home and the inspiration for his art – for several months each year, where he plays an active role in the change and continuity of Dolpo village life.
Dhan Bahadur Budha (Managing Director)
Native from low Dolpo he was early involved in his district as a development contactor with the Nepal government for buildings and roads construction. One of the biggest projects that he develops in Dolpo was to bring telephone line in the main district city Dunai. Elected as 2 times district development Chairman, Dhanu ( as people call him) have also social service aim to help poor people in this way he helped to bring rice and salt in food support. He think it is time for Dolpo to develop his tourism to help people to find solutions to stop poverty and keep their one tradition. Dhanu have also a good experience of outside country, with traveling in Europe and Asia. Dhanu is a very well know figure of Dolpo.
Anne Lelong (Director)
Guide, Cartographer, photographer, partner and manager of Kula Mountain School in Upper Dolpo Anne Lelong is a multi faceted personality and a Nepal lover. Anne has previously done several trips in Tibet and Mongolia on horseback, spending a considerable amount of time with nomads. A genuine explorer, she has travelled extensively in Africa also, in Togo and Benin.
She came to Nepal 15 years ago for the first time, and has now been living in Nepal for the last 8 years. Before settling in Nepal, she has accumulated numerous solitary treks to live fully her passion for photography, organising several photo exhibitions in France. Anne has spent time with various organisations working with street children, teaching them photography and art. She is specifically interested in Himalayan traditions, culture and art in Nepal. She spends a lot of time in the most remote parts of Upper Dolpo, developing the school project in Thing Kyu, but also more generally benefiting local communities in this area. Her aim is to help people preserve their unique traditional way of life.
Sunil Prasad Joshi (Office Manager)
Nepali, born in Katmandu 1976. Sunil has worked in adventure tourism since 1995 with 9 years experience in River rafting and involves in handicraft for many years.
Very close to Dolpo people he is working as office manager of Himalayan Dolpo natural trek since the beginning. Passionate with tourism he likes to develop a new way of adventure in Nepal and challenge with the difficult access of remote places in Nepal and deelop health support camp with foreigner organization for benfit of Nepalese people
